Alyce Crider: Daily trips to Waterford shows a caring dad

On June 20, my husband and I were in Costco waiting in the check-out line. A good looking young man was in front of us. We struck up a conversation and learned that he attended school in Waterford. He lives with his father in Merced. During the school year, his father takes him to Waterford every day. His parents are divorced and he appreciates very much what his dad is doing for him. He seemed very proud of his dad. We did not exchange names, but if that father reads this, I sincerely hope you had a very nice Father’s Day.
