Ron Aragon: UC staff are socialists until payday
You highlight how gigantic University of California leader’s wages, benefits and retirements are and you are correct, they are astronomical. Given that fact, and the fact that the university system teaches, preaches and infuses socialism into everything it says and does, it’s time for all of those mega-high, overpaid human stale loaves of bread to give back. If they truly believe in socialism, then they can forego their huge incomes and pay off every student loan that was ever garnered by every single student in their prospective universities – in this case, the University of California at large!
Put your money where your mouth is, or admit that socialism is only for those of you who have found a way to slither to the top and remain there wasting buckets of Russian caviar washed down with champagne while students eat Spam and Top Ramen!
