Marj Hoffmann: Mercy was thorough, competent and compassionate

Mercedians seem to take delight in panning our local facilities. But having spent five hours one morning recently at the Mercy Medical Center emergency department, I am writing to say I was treated most professionally, competently, compassionately and thoroughly by Dr. Ajinder Singh and nurse Skip Noneman. I received immediate treatment for my breathing difficulty and then numerous tests to pinpoint the basic problem. Before I was discharged, I also received a definitive diagnosis of COPD, which has been verified by my primary doctor.

I commend Mercy Medical Center and its entire staff and I appreciate each and every one of them.

Marj Hoffmann, Merced
