Cathy Paskin: Why no results on my iPad?

I was very disappointed in how poorly the Merced County Elections results were delivered this year. Most iPhone and iPad users were unable to see results on their devices; zeros appeared in every column all night long, in spite of rebooting, multiple refreshes, etc. These are obviously two of the most popular mobile devices in use. Previous election night results have been viewable using both. In a night of extremely close races, it was very frustrating not to be able to keep up with Merced County returns, while other counties and the state elections website were functioning seamlessly. Merced County residents deserve the right to view their returns easily.
