Luna Jamero: Luau on the Lake was a great success

I had the pleasure of attending the Luau at the Lake on Oct. 9. It was a wonderful event with approximately 350 in attendance, all to support the efforts of the Merced County Arts Council and its programs. If anyone thinks the community doesn’t support the arts, they are wrong. The event was not only well attended but the auction resulted in at least $7,000, and these were items that included a beautiful wooden bowl. Congratulations to all those who worked hard to put on this fundraiser event.
