Charles Wilson: Veteran grateful for another vet’s generosity

I would like to express a big thank-you to the gentleman who was enjoying his meal at the Black Bear Diner on Veterans Day afternoon. As he finished his meal and paid the bill he made a brief visit to the booth that my wife and I were in to tell us that he was pleased to have observed us as we took time to pray Gods blessing over our meal.

As one veteran to another, he had paid for our meal and then thanked me for my military service.

We failed to get your name or to thank you properly, but we so appreciate your act of kindness. Hope you read this letter as we ask God’s blessings on you and also thank you for your service to our great country.
