Ernest Walk: Water wars are coming; whose side are supervisors on?

I see that the Good Ol‘ Boy network remains active in Merced County. Groundwater belongs to everyone, not just the few who can drill deeper and pump more. The majority of the board of supervisors appear determined to ensure their buddies can continue to enrich themselves at the expense of all Merced County citizens. The practice of groundwater mining must be made illegal. It is stealing from everyone. Water wars are coming and unfortunately Merced’s county supervisors are already reaching for the white flag.
