Shane Smith: Thanks for bringing Santa to town

My thanks to the Sun-Star and its staff for hosting a wonderful open house on Wednesday evening. Our 3-year-old especially enjoyed her time with Santa in between sugar cookies and Christmas carols. Your paper has an important role within our community, and I was pleased to see so many of our neighbors enjoying your hospitality. Happy holidays.
