Clarence Souza Jr.: Out nation needs to ‘flush out’ failed policies of last six years
Re “Our View: Trump riding anger wave, but he’ll wash out” (Page 11A Dec. 5): The editorial is an obvious attempt to discount the leading GOP candidate in the race for president of the United States of America. It’s not surprising the editorial seeks to create doubt with regard to Donald Trump. The opinion of the editors of the Sun-Star is no secret to its subscribers.
As for Trump washing out, or perhaps you’d prefer to call it “flushing out.” You fail to accept the true appeal of such a candidate. “Flush out” the ugly truth of failed, angry, derisive, decisive, demagogic, vulgar (your words) political opposition, regardless of party affiliation, and don’t fear the outcome. “Flush out” the truth about an incompetent ideology that has had its way for far too long. “Flush out” the distrust of a corrupt and incompetent government that is truely in need of “true change.”
Even if Trump washes out in his run for president, the future embarrassment you describe for his supporters is currently owned by the obvious ignorance of the opposition.
