Tim Hassler: Fear Republicans, not Muslims

Do people realize that if Democrats had their way the shooting in San Bernardino would never have happened? There would of at least been less people hurt or killed because the shooters would not have had access to weapons of mass killing. Only the military and police should have these weapons.

On 9-11, al Qaeda crashed four airplanes into our buildings, one into our Pentagon, trying to shut down our government. They failed. But in October, 2013, a few spoiled-brat Republicans completely shut down our government. Our own people. They couldn’t have hurt us much worse if they had been terrorists. All because our black president wanted us to have health care.

In Atwater, a right-wing conspiracy group uses the Veterans Memorial building to plot the next overthrow of our government (tea party). This building is dedicated to heroes like my father who fought for our nation, not against it. These radicals should never be allowed to use a Veterans building.

Who should we fear most? Since 9-11 an average of five people a year have been killed in terrorist attacks in the U.S. At the same time 11,000 people have died each year due to gun violence. 11000 a year.
