Jovian Soto: Atwater businesses, high school staff made miracles happen

Atwater High School is so proud to share the story of our latest success. We hosted our 3rd annual “Miracles Do Happen” assembly. Each and every student on campus was given the opportunity to make a wish. Thousands of dollars were raised and distributed to students in the form of dinners, prom tickets, yearbooks, movie tickets, iPods, spa days, Fresno State tickets and even amusement park tickets. Tears were shed, but the assembly’s atmosphere was one of joy, gratitude and unity. The Falcon family created and shared so many unforgettable and heartfelt memories in “The Nest” on Dec. 11.

The smiles we put on the faces of our students would not have been possible without the help and donations of the businesses of our community and the donations from the Atwater High School staff.

On behalf of the AHS Leadership Class, staff, students and those who had their wishes come true, thank you.

Thank you to all and to all, happy holidays!

Jovian Soto, Atwater Student Body president, and Erika Matola, ASB Vice President
