Wayne Wallace: Drones are registered, why not guns?
Re “FAA to require most drones to be registered, marked with owner data” (Page 10A, Dec. 15): I read in the Merced Sun-Star that they are going to regulate the sale of drones. A purchaser buying a drone must register the drone and have his or her name on it. I have one question: If they can regulate a drone for being dangerous with the potential to cause mass killings within such a short time of them arriving on the market, why can’t they do the same with guns?
I really don’t see a problem with that, do you? They can register the gun and have their name engraved on the gun?
