Bill Bush: Noisy neighbors truly inconsiderate
The noise ordinances in Merced need to be better addressed and enforced. Noisy neighbors with no regard for those who live around them are disgusting and display inconsiderate behavior. Many of us have jobs and need a reasonable amount of sleep to do them. I have to deal with nose pollution in my neighborhood which includes loud music and obnoxious barking dogs.
I also have neighbors who work on their vehicles at all hours of the day and night. During the Fourth of July week I also hear the constant bangs of illegal fireworks. Not only are they dangerous, but are also a noisy nuisance. The City needs to clampdown on homeowners, renters and landlords to better address this obnoxious and unlawful behavior.
