John Riis-Christensen: Prop. 57 is a dangerous lie

Governor Browns Proposition 57 is an out-and-out lie. It says that only people that have been convicted of non-violent crimes will be released under his proposition if it becomes law. Well some of those so-called non-violent crimes are, drive-by shootings, domestic violence, human trafficking and assault with a deadly weapon. These are violent criminals that will be eligible for release under Brown’s Prop. 57, and these are not non-violent crimes. Prop. 57 will put lives in jeopardy, just so Brown can meet the federal mandate to cut down the prison population. How much is your life worth to the governor? Vote no on Prop. 57 your life may depend upon it.

John Riis-Christensen, Atwater
