Joe Brucia: Carded at 73; that shows a lack of respect

This past week I stopped off at my local Rite Aid for a 6-pack of craft beer. When I reached the cashier, she asked for a photo ID. I was flabbergasted! I stated, “I am 73 years old, what’s left of my hair is grey and I have been shopping here for more than 20 years.”

“It’s our new policy,” she replied. I fumbled through my credit cards and found my Medicare card and my Golden Age Passport. They were not accepted. Finally I found my driver’s license, which was closely examined and accepted. When I left, I thought that there is now no respect for America’s senior citizens. Perhaps I should let the Trump campaign know about this awful disrespect!
