Mike Teater: Creighton will help put the SS Atwater on a new course

It is time for non politician type of people to run the city of Atwater as active players, and not hiding their heads in the sand as most of the current council does. The council allowed Frank Pietro to take total power over the lives and property of hard-working citizens of Atwater. Between department heads hiring their own children and getting lawsuits filled against the city that will end up costing the city big bucks, the city is sinking.

With elections coming up there is a person who will make a positive change – Paul Creighton. I worked with Paul and we had our disagreements, but he did a dang good job and cleaned up the city. As a councilman he will continue to be honest and upright. We need to save our city, make smart changes and get new blood at the helm of the SS Atwater. Or else, we’ll sink.

Mike Teater, Quincy
