Tickets for Merced-Golden Valley boys basketball on sale

Tickets for the Merced-Golden Valley high school boys basketball game at Merced High on Friday night will be on sale at both schools’ student body offices. Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for students.

Hole in one

Louis Oliveira made a hole in one Sunday at Rancho Del Rey Golf Course. The ace came on No. 14, which was playing 156 yards. Oliveira used a 7-iron. The shot was witnessed by Anthony Lima.
