Recent Buhach Colony graduate Jessica Pinasco signed her national letter of intent to play volleyball at UC Merced on Tuesday evening.

Pinasco was the Sun-Star Girls Volleyball Player of the Year last season after leading the Thunder to the Sac-Joaquin Section Division III semifinals.

Pinasco led the Thunder with 318 kills and 302 digs. She was named the Central California Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Year.
