Erreca scores in Paris

Dan Erreca form Los Banos placed second in the series in the recent New Years Eve in Paris tournament at McHenry Bowl in Modesto. Erreca rolled a set of 856, right on the tail of Modesto's Fritz Klatt who shot an 867. He is a director in our local USBC association and rolls in Bellevue Bowl's top league, the Commercial Classic. He shot a 300 game last year and is averaging around 205 this year.

Los Banos Bowling

I received a few scores from the mixed leagues at the new Aqua Entertainment Center in Los Banos. The Tuesday night mixed with Stephen Toscano 222, Shane Hogan 203, Linda Raw 172, and Jana Sousa a 164. The Wednesday night mixed had Allen Osip 211, Ward Russell 193, Patti Alberti 171, and Sousa again with a 196. The Thursday night mixed had Ron Pinentel 217, Dan Erreca 215, Glen Branco 215, and Cecillio Pandura a 215/517. Scores were furnished by Dan Erreca.

Ball not moving

If it’s not moving, rolling by at the break point, no hook? Maybe the cause might be too much oil and gunk on your cover stock of your ball. It could be the time to look into an oil removal system to remove the oil and get your ball back to its original condition.

You can't see the oil on the ball, but it is there. I have one and others in our association have one and it works great. In one hour the oil is out of your ball, wipe it off and add some polish and your ready to go. Contact me and I can get you a system for $150 delivered to your door. At the end of my column is my phone and e-mail to contact me.

BVL Certificates

I was visiting the Thursday Senior league at Bellevue Bowl, the Twilighters and Jo Ann Baker wanted to know when she would be receiving her Certificate for winning the women's C division during the Annual Merced County BVL tournament. There were 13 winners in the Helen Duval Veterans tourney held on November 4 at Bellevue Bowl. In the past the association has presented the winners with a Certificate. She wanted to know when she would receive hers? I know that HOF Rae Coonce has received hers.
