UC Merced men’s basketball program hosting a camp this weekend

The UC Merced men’s basketball team will be hosting a basketball camp on Sunday. The camp is open to kids 12 to 17 years old.

The cost of the camp is $95 per person.

The UC Merced camp is designed to develop and improve individual basketball skills in an intense, yet fun environment. Head coach Kevin Pham, his assistant and players will direct the camp.

Each participant will receive a free t-shirt. Gatorade will be available on each coach. Pizza will be served for lunch. There will be private tours of the campus available. Small group instruction and camp aways will be provided.

The camp will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Joseph Gallo Recreation & Wellness Center.

The camp will include fundamental and station drills, position work and team competition.

All campes should wear athletic shorts, basketball shoes and no jewelry.
