Jeffery in the NFL
Jeffery built a productive NFL career as a big-bodied, physical wide receiver known for contested catches and red-zone ability. After starring at University of South Carolina, he was selected by the Chicago Bears in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Jeffery quickly emerged as one of the league's top young receivers, posting back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons in 2013 and 2014.
His breakout 2013 campaign included over 1,400 receiving yards and a Pro Bowl selection, as he formed a dangerous tandem with Brandon Marshall in Chicago. Injuries later affected his consistency with the Bears, but he remained a respected playmaker.
Jeffery's career reached its peak after signing with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2017. He became a key target for quarterback Carson Wentz and later Nick Foles during the Eagles' championship season, helping the franchise win Super Bowl LII over the New England Patriots.
Jeffery caught a touchdown in the NFC Championship Game and another in the Super Bowl, cementing his place in Philadelphia history. Though injuries shortened his later years, he finished his career with over 6,700 receiving yards and over 50 touchdowns.
