These Are the 10 Best Wide Receiver Seasons in Fantasy Football History

Full PPR pushes the all-time wide receiver leaderboard toward players who paired elite target volume with major yardage and touchdown production.

Some seasons made it through overwhelming catch totals, while others climbed with bigger scoring efforts or a small rushing boost on top.

Here are the 10 highest-scoring WR seasons fantasy football of all time.

The Top 10 Wide Receiver Fantasy Seasons in NFL History

10) Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins (2023): 376.4 points

The Cheetah turned 119 catches, 1,799 receiving yards, and 13 receiving touchdowns into one of the best fantasy seasons ever by a wideout. He added 15 rushing yards for good measure, but the receiving yardage obviously did almost all of the damage.

9) Isaac Bruce, St. Louis Rams (1995): 378.8 points

Bruce posted 119 catches, 1,781 receiving yards, and 13 receiving touchdowns in what was among the most dominant performances to that point in the game's history.

8) Marvin Harrison, Indianapolis Colts (2002): 384.2 points

Speaking of dominance ... Harrison caught 143 passes for 1,722 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2002. His 10 rushing yards don't move the needle much, but 143 receptions certainly do in a full-PPR format!

7) Randy Moss, New England Patriots (2007): 385.3 points

Moss did not need rushing work or extreme catch volume to land here. His 98 catches for 1,493 yards are nothing to sneeze at, but 23 touchdown receptions made this one of the most efficient fantasy WR seasons the position has seen.

6) Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers (2014): 386.9 points

Brown's place on this list comes from another high-volume role as he finished with 129 catches, 1,698 receiving yards, and 13 receiving touchdowns. Believe it or not, this wasn't even peak AB....

5) Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers (2015): 388.2 points

Brown followed that with 136 catches for 1,834 yards and 10 touchdowns. His raw receptions and yardage totals were even better, which is why this season edges out his 2014 line despite fewer touchdowns.

4) Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals (2024): 403.0 points

Clearing 400 points with 127 catches, 1,708 receiving yards, and 17 receiving touchdowns, Chase was nothing short of unstoppable. Former Baltimore coaches are still having nightmares about his 17-catch, 264-yard, three-TD dismantling of their defense, even if the Ravens had the last laugh.

3) CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys (2023): 403.2 points

Lamb barely tops Chase with 135 catches, 1,749 receiving yards, and 12 receiving touchdowns. His rushing line - 113 yards and two touchdowns - provided the extra bump that moved him ahead by the slimmest of margins.

2) Jerry Rice, San Francisco 49ers (1995): 420.0 points

The 1995 season was magical for fantasy receivers. That year, Rice combined 122 catches, 1,848 receiving yards, and 15 receiving touchdowns with 36 rushing yards and one ground score. That extra rushing touchdown helped turn an already historic receiving season into what was the best WR fantasy year ever until....

1) Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams (2021): 439.5 points

Are you surprised that Kupp owns the top spot? He finished with 145 catches, 1,947 receiving yards, and 16 receiving touchdowns, then added 18 rushing yards for funsies. While his production has sharply declined since 2021, he can forever reminisce about capping off the best fantasy performance of all time with an 8-92-2 line in Super Bowl LVI to win MVP honors.
