Poll: Introducing the Beer Skate

The puck drops Thursday night on Game 3 of the Carolina Hurricanes-Philadelphia Flyers Stanley Cup playoff series (8 p.m. ET, TNT). Carolina leads the series 2-0 after sweeping the Ottawa Senators in four games in Round 1.

The Hurricanes are one of two teams that have yet to lose a game in these playoffs; in the Western Conference, the Colorado Avalanche have a 2-0 lead over the Minnesota Wild after sweeping the Los Angeles Kings in Round 1.

Of course, if the Hurricanes sweep the Flyers, then Carolina fans will have to wait until the Eastern Conference finals to enjoy the team's newest concesion… the Beer Skate.

The Beer Skate was introduced for the first two home games in the series vs. Philadelphia, and it's certainly been a popular item. Thus the question…
