Dianna Russini's Unhinged Husband Joke Has Resurfaced Online
Every time it seems like the drama surrounding Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel is about to die down, another report or video emerges.
Page Six shocked the NFL community on April 7 by publishing photos of Russini and Vrabel at a hotel in Arizona. A few weeks later, photos from 2020 were released online. They were seen getting cozy at a bar in New York City.
Less than 48 hours ago, TMZ added more fuel to the fire by sharing a video of Russini and Vrabel enjoying a boat day in June 2021. She was pregnant with her first child at the time.
"The timing of that outing might raise a few eyebrows, because Russini was pregnant at the time with her first child. Documents, obtained by TMZ Sports, show both signed the company waiver before heading out on a lake … and our source says there was no visible PDA before they departed," TMZ reported. "We're also told Vrabel and Russini appeared cautious about photos being taken, and while she declined to pose at all with the staff … Vrabel agreed to snap one pic, but allegedly asked that no images be publicly posted."
Unfortunately for Russini, things could get worse before they get better. On Thursday night, a social media user shared an old clip of the NFL insider playing a version of "Family Feud" with Vrabel and a few Barstool Sports personalities.
Russini was asked to answer the following question: "What is something you might close your eyes to do?" Her response was truly unhinged.
"When you have sex with your husband or wife," Russini replied.
You could literally see Vrabel shaking his head after Russini gave this answer.
Will Dianna Russini break her silence?
Russini hasn't said anything publicly since resigning from her role with The Athletic.
One of Russini's former co-workers at ESPN, Jon "Stugotz" Weiner, made a comment this week about her sharing her side to the story. Perhaps that means an explanation is coming soon.
"This is her story to share when she feels like sharing it," Weiner said, via Awful Announcing. "It is not me. And it is not my obligation to talk to Dianna Russini privately on the phone and then share it with a radio audience that she doesn't want me to share it with, because it's not my story to tell. It's her story to tell on her timeline."
Nikki Gist, a New Jersey sports reporter, believes Russini could "take half the industry down with her" whenever she finally speaks out. For now though, people are waiting for an update on this messy situation.
