Drug Charges Against Bode Miller To Be Dropped, According to Attorney

Bode Miller was the subject of a TMZ breaking news story earlier this week when an affidavit was leaked that he was arrested on drug charges.

According to TMZ, Miller was arrested after a traffic stop in Fremont County, Idaho, on June 6, 2026. He was allegedly in possession of more than 4 grams of psilocybin mushrooms in a dispensary bag.

Miller addressed the arrest on Instagram with a statement, claiming that a friend riding with him had a small amount of cannabis and a pipe, but he didn't address the mushroom allegation, causing confusion.

The charges are now expected to be dropped, according to ABC News and ESPN.

Miller's attorney, Jeromy Stafford, told ABC that "no drugs were found on Bode's person," and that Fremont County prosecutor Lindsey Blake "agreed to dismiss all charges against Bode Miller".

While these charges won't stick, Miller has been the subject of numerous ski-industry-related controversies in recent years, including the financial and athlete fiascos involving his brand, Peak Skis, and the announcement and subsequent cancellation of a new state-of-the-art ski academy at Granby Ranch, Colorado.
