Who's the Best QB from the 2024 NFL Draft Class?
The 2024 NFL Draft featured a trio of talented quarterback prospects, all of whom would have been worthy of the No. 1 overall pick in any other year. Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye all had the physical tools, mental prowess, and overall upside to become franchise passers, but only one of them could be the top pick.
That was good news for the three teams picking at the top of the board, all of whom needed a difference-maker at the position.
Williams took the top spot with the Chicago Bears, while Daniels went second to the Washington Commanders. Maye "fell" to the No. 3 slot, landing with the New England Patriots.
Two years in, all three have proven to be worthy of the predraft hype that led to them being the first three picks off the board.
Williams' rare playmaking ability and knack for coming through in the clutch helped the Bears win the NFC North title last season. Daniels has been plagued by injuries, but he led the Commanders to the NFC Championship Game as a rookie. It was Maye who topped them all last year, though, taking the Pats all the way to the Super Bowl while getting strong consideration for the league MVP award.
Expectations are through the roof for all three as they head into their third seasons in the NFL, and as their respective careers will always be linked together, it's hard not to already wonder which of them has proven to be the best of the bunch.
