Competitive soccer tryouts in Atwater

Atwater/McSwain Competitive Soccer is hosting tryouts on Saturday at Atwater High. The tryouts will be for U10, 11, 12, 16 and 19 girls and U13 and 16 boys teams. The tryouts will be held in the back soccer fields from noon to 2 p.m.

Atwater competitve soccer is an organization that offers an opportunity to play year-round soccer at a more comptetive level. Players who want to develop their skills should come tryout. Contact Mike Ruiz at (209) 658-8801. Interested coaches should call contact Juan Arevalos at (209) 205-0125.

The Central Valley Sun Devils travel baseball team will hold a tryout on Jan. 11 at Golden Valley High. The tryouts are open to players 13-17 years of age and will be held from noon to 2 p.m. For more info, contanct (209) 777-8312 or (209) 261-3364.
