Baseball coaching clinic set for Thursday in Merced

Former Merced College baseball coach Butch Hughes and Merced High School coach Justin Parle are hosting a baseball coaching clinic on Thursday, Jan. 22.

The free clinic will be held at the Pellissier Ranch at 2507 North Arboleda Dr. in Merced from 7-9 p.m.

The clinic is geared toward youth, middle school and beginning high school coaches. The focus will be on how to organize practices and will introduce pitching and hitting drills.
