Pat Hill out as Fresno State football coach

Fresno State football coach Pat Hill is out after 15 seasons, the university announced today.

Fresno State athletic director Thomas Boeh has scheduled a 5 p.m. news conference today to discuss the change in the football program.

With Saturday's season-ending loss at San Diego State, Fresno State (4-9, 3-4 Western Athletic Conference) tied a record for most losses in school history. The Bulldogs finished fourth in its last season in their WAC.

Hill has two years remaining on a contract that annually pays him $650,000.
