Sun-Star’s Best: Merced’s Isaiah Serena wins Prep of the Week voting
Merced High wrestler Isaiah Serena won this week’s Merced Sun-Star Prep of the Week fan vote.
Serena won this week’s poll with over 43% of the total vote with 48,473 votes. Serena went 4-0 in winning the Sac-Joaquin Section Division III 115-pound championship last week.
There were 112,667 total votes.
Los Banos wrestler Alana Watkins finished second with 37% of the votes, which totaled 42,066 votes. Atwater’s Jordyn Allison finished third with 17,153 votes.
