Sun-Star’s Best: Los Banos’ Raymond Fernandez wins Prep of the Week voting
Los Banos High wrestler Raymond Fernandez won this week’s Merced Sun-Star Prep of the Week fan vote.
Fernandez won this week’s poll with over 57% of the total vote with 38,971 votes. Fernandez finished fourth in the 195-pound division at the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters Championship to punch his ticket to the CIF State Meet in Bakersfield.
There were 67,897 total votes.
Los Banos teammate Larry Borelli finished second with 36% of the votes (24,183).
