Sun-Star’s Best: Chowchilla’s Sabin wins Prep of the Week voting
Chowchilla High School freshman Lexyss Sabin won this week’s Merced Sun-Star Prep of the Week fan vote.
Sabin won this week’s poll with over 52% of the total vote with 20,322 votes.
Sabin hit for the cycle, hitting a home run, triple, double and single, in a victory over Sierra. Sabin also pitched three innings in the victory.
There were 38,761 total votes.
Merced softball senior Ellie Alvarez finished second with 13,573 votes.
