Sun-Star’s Best: Delhi soccer wins Boys Team of the Year voting
The Delhi High School boys soccer team won the Merced Sun-Star Boys Team of the Year fan vote.
Delhi received 58% of the votes for a total of 4,213 votes.
There were 7,300 total votes.
Delhi finished with a 15-2-5 overall record, winning a Southern League and Sac-Joaquin Section Division V championship.
Le Grand’s section championship football team finished second in the readers poll with 40% of the votes.
