Sun-Star’s Best: Pacheco’s Bravo wins Player of the Week poll for Week 2
Pacheco High School junior Abel Bravo carried a heavy load for the Panthers, rushing for 189 yards and two touchdowns in a loss to Central Valley last week.
Bravo won the Merced Sun-Star fans’ vote for High School Football Player of the Week for Week 2.
The Pacheco running back received 38% of the votes for a total of 8,871 votes.
There were 23,117 total votes this week.
Gustine’s Zander Leyva finished second with 7,175 votes.
