Sun-Star’s Best: Dos Palos’ Elias Malfabon wins Player of the Week poll for Week 8
Dos Palos High School senior Elias Malfabon caught 11 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns to help lead the Broncos to a win over Mendota.
Malfabon won the Merced Sun-Star’s fans’ vote for High School Football Player of the Week for Week 8.
Malfabon received 51% of the votes for a total of 7,307 votes.
There were 14,469 total votes.
Atwater quarterback Tyler Parr finishes second with 6,692 votes.
