Sun-Star’s Best Prep Football: Stone Ridge Christian’s Lund wins Prep of the Week poll
Stone Ridge Christian High senior Carson Lund delivered two touchdowns to help propel the Knights to a 35-0 victory over Mariposa.
Lund had a touchdown catch and a touchdown rush, finishing with 162 total yards of offense.
Lund won the Merced Sun-Star Prep of the Week Football Poll.
Lund earned the most votes for the Merced Sun-Star’s Prep Football Player of the Week. The Knights senior racked up 30,144 votes, which accounted for 56% of the total 53,832 votes.
Delhi’s Antonio Gutierrez finished second with 23,218 votes, which accounted for 43% of the votes.
