Livingston boys volleyball star honored by Sac-Joaquin Section

Livingston High boys volleyball star Gurvir Singh has been named Sac-Joaquin Section Small School Player of the Year, the section announced Tuesday.

Singh, a senior middle hitter, helped lead the Wolves to a 37-8 record, a Western Athletic Conference championship and a runner-up finish in the section Division 4 tournament.

The Wolves’ season ended May 19 with a loss in the first round of the CIF Northern California Regional Division 2 tournament to top-seeded Granite Bay.

Singh finished the season team-highs in kills (546) and blocks (81). He was an all-section first-team selection in 2025.

Livingston senior middle hitter Bradley Kaji was given Honorable Mention.

Nolan Marks, a junior setter for Jesuit High in Carmichael was named the Large School Player of the Year. Laguna Creek’s Dave Amituanai was named Coach of the Year.
