Christian Williams

School: Le Grand

Sport: Football

Class: Junior

Position: Receiver

The Week:  Williams started the game with a 63-yard touchdown run on the first play for the Bulldogs. He added punt returns for touchdowns of 55 and 68 yards. He also returned a kickoff 84 yards for a score in Le Grand's 54-14 win over Delhi.

School: Merced

Sport: Water Polo

Class: Junior

Position: 2-meter defense

The Week:  Known as "The Vortex," Eckles gobbled up six steals, scored two goals and assisted on two others to lead the Bears to a 7-2 win over Golden Valley in a battle of undefeated Central California Conference teams. Eckles helped Merced extend its CCC winning streak to 31 games.
