Here are the Merced Allstate Athletes of the Week for Nov. 16-Nov. 22, 2013.

Amber Fletcher

School: Stone Ridge Christian

Sport: Volleyball

Class: Senior

Position: Setter

The Week: Fletcher helped the Knights earn their way to their first section title game. The senior recorded 33 assists in SRC's upset of top-seeded Valley Christian in the semifinals. She finished with 19 assists, 10 digs and two aces in a 3-1 loss to Turlock Christian in the title game.

Joseph Bello

School: Hilmar

Sport: Football

Class: Senior

Position: Linebacker

The Week: Bello helped the Yellowjackets reach the Sac-Joaquin Section Division 4 semifinals. The middle linebacker was all over the field with 12 tackles, including seven solo stops to help hold Escalon to just seven points.
