The Week: Howard led the Thunder to a team title at the third annual Merced County Championships. Howard won the 50-yard freestyle (22.9 seconds) and 100 freestyle (51.2).

Aly Waltman

School: Los Banos

Sport: Softball

Class: Junior

Position: Shortstop/Pitcher

The Week: Waltman helped lead the Tigers to NorCal Classic Gold Division championship by going 6-for-11 with five runs scored. She also picked up two wins as a pitcher.
