Gustine police to host kids’ Halloween party

Gustine police will be hosting a haunted house party from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Gustine Police Department, 682 Third Ave. in Gustine.

Nearly 700 local students are expected to attend from Gustine Elementary School, Gustine Middle School, Romero Elementary School and Our Lady of Miracles Catholic School. The event is closed to the general public.

Activities will include the showing of “Hotel Transylvania” on a 14-foot outdoor screen, face painting, popcorn, snow cones and a bounce house. There is no cost for the students to participate.

Special required “entry” wristbands will be issued to students by their teachers. The wristbands must be presented at the front lobby doors upon entering the event.
