Two injured in three-car accident on Pacheco

A three-car accident on Pacheco Boulevard near Walmart led to two people being hospitalized Tuesday afternoon, according to police reports.

Acting Police Chief Ray Reyna said that shortly before 1:40 p.m. a red Toyota was eastbound in the passing lane on Pacheco Boulevard west of Badger Flat Road when it rear-ended a red Ford, which then crashed into a white Ford truck in front of it.

Reyna said the driver of the Toyota went to the hospital for a medical issue that may have existed before the collision. The medical issue wasn’t immediately known to police, Reyna said.

A passenger in the Ford truck also went to the hospital after complaining of pain, Reyna said.
