Dunkin’ Donuts sets opening date for first shop in Merced. Where will it open?

Merced is getting it’s first Dunkin’ Donuts.
The popular coffee and doughnut chain plans to open its first location in Merced soon, a city spokesperson confirmed to the Merced Sun-Star.

Dunkin’ Donuts is one of the largest coffee chains in the nation.
The chain was founded in 1950 by William Rosenberg in Quincy, Massachusetts and has since expanded to more than 14,000 locations worldwide.
What’s on the menu at Dunkin’ Donuts?
Dunkin’ Donuts is known for its coffee drinks, doughnuts and breakfast sandwiches.
The drink menu includes everything from classic hot coffee to customizable iced drinks, cold brew and espresso beverages.
Popular flavors include caramel, butter pecan and seasonal offerings such as pumpkin.
As for the chain’s signature doughnuts, longtime fan favorites include Glazed, Boston Kreme and Chocolate Frosted varieties.
Dunkin’ Donuts also serves bagels, muffins, muffins and other baked goods.
Where will Dunkin’ Donuts open in Merced?
The new Dunkin’ Donuts location will in the Campus Parkway Plaza development on the southeast side of Merced, just off Highway 99.
The store will sit at the intersection of Campus Parkway and East Mission Avenue.
Several other new businesses are planned for the shopping center, including Chipotle, Starbucks and Hilton Garden Inn.
When will new Merced County doughnut shop open?
City officials said the Merced Dunkin’ Donuts is expected to open sometime between late July and early August.
