Merced woman, 20, arrested, suspected of auto burglaries
Police arrested a 20-year old woman on suspicion of multiple auto burglaries Saturday morning in Merced.
Officers answered a call of an auto burglary in process at 9:02 a.m. on the 2100 block of Dinkey Creek Avenue.
Police found Sierra Brewer in the area. She had a felony warrant for her arrest, police said, and was in possession of a shaved car key and items belonging to multiple residences in the area.
Brewer was arrested on the warrant as well as possession of burglary tools and suspicion of four counts of auto burglary. She was taken to the Merced Police Department and released via citation.
The property was returned to the owners.
