Man found dead on sidewalk in Merced County ID’d by family members. Police suspect foul play
Rudy Padilla of Livingston was identified by family members as the man who was found dead on the sidewalk Feb. 27.
Padilla was found by Livingston police on Harvest at Olds Avenue. He was pronounced dead.
Livingston police suspect foul play was involved and don’t know where the alleged crime occurred. Police don’t have a suspect description and were canvassing for surveillance video.
Padilla’s family put together a GoFundMe to help with funeral costs.
