Free Mexican dinner? Order from a local restaurant and Jose Cuervo might pay for it

It’s no secret that small businesses are struggling during the coronavirus pandemic, but Jose Cuervo wants to help.

In honor of Cinco de Mayo, the tequila company is encouraging people to order from local independent Mexican food restaurants by offering to cover the tab, according to a news release.

From now until May 5, order from your local Mexican food restaurant — that has no more than 10 locations nationwide — then post a photo of your receipt to Twitter tagging @Jose Cuervo and using #CincoToGo and #CuervoContest.

Jose Cuervo will randomly choose up to 250 winners each day and reimburse them for their order through Venmo, the release said.

Receipts for take out, delivery and curbside pickup are all eligible, according to the rules.

You can only enter once a day and each entry must have a unique receipt that hasn’t already been used in a previous entry, the rules state.

A person or household can only win once.

Entrants must be at least 21 with a valid U.S. driver’s license or government issued photo I.D..

You can read the complete rules here.
