Merced County could get bit of a weather surprise. What’s in the week’s forecast
Summer weather has officially arrived, but that doesn’t mean it’s always predictable.
The coming week could have a day or two with some not-so-typical July weather, including one expected to be mostly cloudy and another holding a chance of showers, according to the National Weather Service.
Nonetheless, it’s expected to be hot, with a couple of days expected to hit triple digits.
Here’s a look at the daily weather service predictions:
- Sunday, July 12: Cloudy, with a high near 98 degrees and a low around 71.
- Monday, July 13: Mostly cloudy with 20% chance of rain, with a high near 102, low around 72.
- Tuesday, July 14: Sunny and hot, with a high near 102, low around 71.
- Wednesday, July 15: Sunny and hot, with a high near 98 and a low around 68.
- Thursday, July 16: Sunny and hot, with a high near 98, low around 66.
- Friday, July 17: Sunny, with a high near 95, low around 68.
