SuperLotto Plus player wins $14 million in California. Where was ticket sold?

A SuperLotto Plus player in California won the $14 million jackpot, lottery officials say.

The ticket matched five winning numbers and the mega number in the drawing Saturday, Nov. 8, the California Lottery said.

The lucky ticket was sold at Maple Leaf Liquors in San Jose, the lottery said.

The winning numbers were 12, 26, 30, 38 and 42, with a mega number of 4, the site said.

SuperLotto Plus jackpot resets

The grand prize resets to an estimated $7 million, with a cash value of about $3.2 million, for the next drawing Wednesday, Nov. 12.

Nearly 90,000 other SuperLotto tickets sold in California also won prizes ranging from $1 to $3,118, the lottery said.

The SuperLotto Plus jackpot was last won Oct. 11, when a ticket purchased in Westlake Village near Los Angeles won $50 million, the Sacramento Bee reported.

What to know about SuperLotto Plus

To score a jackpot in the SuperLotto Plus, a player must match all five numbers and the mega number.

The odds of scoring the jackpot prize are 1 in 41,416,353.

Tickets can be bought for $1 on the day of the drawing.

Drawings take place Saturdays and Wednesdays after the draw entry closes at 7:45 p.m.
