When will Dunkin’ Donuts open in Merced?
Dunkin’ Donuts is known for its coffee drinks, doughnuts and breakfast sandwiches.
Its menu includes hot and iced coffees, cold brew, espresso beverages and customizable specialty drinks.
City officials said the Merced location is expected to open between late July and early August.
The new Dunkin’ Donuts will be in the Campus Parkway Plaza development on the southeast side of the city near Highway 99.
Where is Bae Tea Coffeehouse opening in Merced?
Bae Tea Coffeehouse is joining Merced’s growing coffee scene with a Yemeni-inspired concept.
The business plans to open in The Hub shopping center at the intersection of Yosemite Avenue and McKee Road.
While an official opening date has not yet been announced, the shop said, customers can expect traditional Yemeni coffees and teas, along with smoothies and milkshakes.
Is Merced getting a new ice cream shop?
Licky’s, a new ice cream shop, is headed to The Hub development at Yosemite Avenue and McKee Road.
City officials said details on the opening timeline are still being finalized.
When will Joy Tea Bar open in Merced?
Joy Tea Bar — a locally owned mobile pop-up known for its handcrafted drinks — will open a tea and coffee shop in Merced.
The shop will move into Fahren’s Park Plaza, 3376 North Highway 59 in Merced.

What is the new Poki Bowl restaurant coming to Merced?
A new Poki Bowl restaurant is planned for Merced, offering customizable Hawaiian-style poke bowls made with raw marinated fish, rice, vegetables and sauces.

The restaurant is expected to open in the Yosemite Crossing shopping center at 145 East Yosemite Ave. in Merced, according to city permit records.

When and where will Dokidoki open in Merced?
Dokidoki announced on Instagram on May 13 that it plans to bring “a new Japanese yakitori & izakaya experience” to the city.
The restaurant’s menu will feature authentic ramen dishes and binchotan-grilled yakitori — a Japanese-style grilled barbecue — along with fresh sashimi.
Dokidoki plans to open at 2991 G St. in Merced, and is targeting a July opening.
However, owners said the timeline could shift slightly as preparations continue.
Is Pollo Campero coming to Merced?
Pollo Campero plans to open a location in Merced, featuring its famous fried and grilled chicken meals.
The Guatemalan fast food chain is known for pairing its chicken with sides including rice, beans, yucca fries and more.
City officials said the restaurant will be built along R Street next to the new Aspen Dental.

When will Vallarta Supermarkets open in Merced?
Vallarta Supermarkets is preparing to open a new Merced location.
The Mexican-American grocery chain operates several locations across the Central Valley, including Modesto and Fresno. It is known for offering fresh produce and fresh-baked goods.
The supermarket will occupy the vacant space next to Kohl’s at the Marketplace at Merced on West Olive Avenue.
It will open on June 10, according to mall officials.
What’s on the menu at Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt?
Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt is also coming to Merced, according to city officials.
The self-serve frozen yogurt shop is known for customizable desserts with rotating frozen yogurt flavors and a large toppings bar.

Has Raising Cane’s set an opening date in Merced?
Raising Cane’s — a popular fast food chain known for its chicken fingers — is coming to the Marketplace at Merced.
The Louisiana-based restaurant will take over part of the former Big Lots space at 665 Fairfield Drive in Merced.
As of Friday, May 29, city officials said an official opening date had not yet been announced.
The company has signed a 15-year lease for the location.
Is Merced getting another Starbucks?
Starbucks is opening another location at 1285 West Yosemite Ave. in Merced.
